01Overview

Safety without blocking the view

A glass railing keeps a balcony, staircase or terrace safe without putting bars between you and the view. It’s the lightest-looking way to guard an edge — the glass almost disappears, and the space feels bigger and brighter.

Because a railing is a safety element, the glass has to be right. We use toughened or laminated safety glass with stainless steel (SS) fittings, and Hitesh measures each run on site so the panels fit the actual edge, not just a drawing.

Railings suit bungalow balconies, apartment terraces and staircases in homes and commercial buildings alike — and like everything we make, they’re fitted by our own team.

08FAQs

Questions about glass railings

Something else? Call or WhatsApp +91 84888 90170.

Is a glass railing safe?

Yes, when it’s the right glass, properly fixed. We use toughened or laminated safety glass with SS fittings. Laminated glass has an extra advantage on a railing: if it cracks, the interlayer holds the pieces together.

Toughened or laminated glass — which should I choose?

Toughened glass is much stronger than ordinary glass and breaks into small, blunt pieces. Laminated glass holds together if it breaks. Which is right depends on the height and use of the edge — we’ll advise at the site visit.

How do I keep a glass railing clean?

A regular wipe with glass cleaner or soapy water. In Ahmedabad’s dusty months you’ll do it more often, but there’s no painting or polishing to worry about.

Can a glass railing be frosted or tinted?

Yes — frosted, tinted and reflective glass are all options where you want privacy or less glare.

Can you fit a glass railing on an existing balcony?

Usually, yes — it depends on the edge of the slab and how the fittings can be fixed. Hitesh checks this when he measures.

How much do glass railings cost?

It depends on the length of the run, the glass and the fittings, so we don’t quote blind. After a free site visit you get a written, itemised quote — typically within 48 hours — showing what each part costs.
