01Overview

Clean glass fronts for shops and offices

Structural glazing is what gives a modern shopfront or office its clean face of glass. Instead of the glass sitting behind visible frames, it’s bonded to an aluminium sub-frame with structural silicone, so from the street you see smooth, continuous glass.

For shops and showrooms, the front elevation is the first thing customers see — display glazing that shows off what’s inside, often combined with ACP branding panels. For offices it’s a professional face and a lot of daylight. Either way the glass has to handle Ahmedabad’s heat: reflective, tinted or double glazed units keep west-facing fronts comfortable.

We work out sections to the span and wind load, use safety glass, and seal every joint with EPDM gaskets and structural silicone. Hitesh measures the elevation himself, and the framing is fabricated in our own workshop.

08FAQs

Questions about structural glazing

Something else? Call or WhatsApp +91 84888 90170.

What is structural glazing?

A way of fixing glass to a building where the glass is bonded to an aluminium sub-frame with structural silicone, so the outside shows smooth glass rather than visible frames.

How is structural glazing different from a curtain wall?

A typical curtain wall shows its aluminium framing on the outside; structural glazing hides it behind the glass. Plenty of façades combine the two.

Is structural glazing safe?

It’s engineered for the building, not taken off the shelf: safety glass, aluminium sections chosen to the span and wind load, and structural silicone made for bonding glass.

Will a glass front make my shop hot?

Not with the right glass. Reflective or tinted glass and double glazed units cut the heat on sunny, west-facing fronts while keeping the display visible.

Can you combine glazing with ACP signage?

Yes. Many shopfronts combine structural glazing with ACP branding panels and signage backing, and we do both.

How much do glass façades cost?

It depends on the area, the sections and the glass, so we don’t quote blind. After a free site visit you get a written, itemised quote — typically within 48 hours — showing what each part costs.
